Five Years Later...

Dan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on May 3. We went and did sealings at the temple and had a date night. I am grateful for such a wonderful husband and know we'll have many more wonderful years together. I love you Dan!

Camping

We had a fabulous camping trip to Chickasaw National Park with the Hansens a few weekends ago. It was absolutely beautiful there. Lots of great places to wade or swim and just relax.

Obviously Jakey our little climber decided that he was pretty cool getting nice and dirty on top of the fire grate. Little stinker. We finally made some sort of barricade so he couldn't get up. He found the road too and we ended up chasing him down a few times, good thing it wasn't busy. Those little legs sure can go fast!

Preschool graduation

Margie "graduated from our little preschool group we did this year with a party in the park. It was great fun we played at the park for a while, had snacks and then a small ceremony where each kid recieved a medal with the letter of their first name on it. As you can see, Jakey had fun playing, Margie was less than enthusiastic about the medal, oh well. You can't make a 3 year old be excited about anything they don't want to be. Thanks to all our preschool friends for a great year.

Happy Birthday 1 Year Old!!

I can't believe it's been a year already since our sweet Jakey was born. This was in the hospital at one day old - he was so little (and has such a goosey sister still)

We had a great party for our one year old. Auntie Em and Uncle Jake and cousin Ethan were here after camping for the weekend (pics of that soon to come). He got loaded up with lots of cars and trucks and cool boy toys!

Jakey loved his chocolate cake - well he didn't love eating it, just smashing it and smearing it all over the place. I guess most one year olds are probably the same. We love our happy little boy.
